Starting in the City’s Harbour, the riders follow the Mediterranean Sea along the famous Avenue on the cycling world, the "Promenade des Anlgais", during the first 4 km. They then turn inland into a series of 4 90 degree turns before entering the "Rue du Maréchal Joffre". The TT powerhouses have here about 3 extra kilometres to put the rest of the riders under pressure.
Into the second half of the Stage, the riders follow the river Paillon on the more twisty part of the Stage, not extremely demanding though. They cross the bridge "René Coty", turn right and start the approach to the finishing line, we have just 5 kilometres to go.
On those final 5 kilometres, the riders just have to face 7 not too demanding turns and almost no elevation gain or loss before reaching the finishing line.
