Ivan Plank insured a proud victory for Odfjell Tankers in Wellington - Napier. Only a few inches ahead of the other sprinters, Ivan Plank showed prosmising sprinting abilities. Right behind him, the two rivals, Jean Pascal Traoré (Cycling team FPS) and Danny Willems (Alpine), became second and third respectively.
Ivan Plank wasn't surprised after winning Wellington - Napier. I simply knew I could do it. I felt good all day, and when the end was there, I gave everything I had, said the confident winner.
The stage couldn't turn out any better than this. Ivan Plank did a perfect job today, said TorvaldTyggis, manager of Odfjell Tankers, after the race.
