Connor Hamblen makes his dream come true

The activity in the peloton was high in Nairobi - Mount Kenya. Several riders attempted to break away. When the peloton passed the first 14 km, Nicolaj Tapp (PEKAC B), Connor Hamblen, (ABK) and Jacob Wieringh (Cycling team FPS) launched an attack. The peloton didn't take the attack too serious, which resulted in the trio fighting for the stage win. Connor Hamblen won the sprint in the group, and became the happy winner of Nairobi - Mount Kenya. Jacob Wieringh was second, and Nicolaj Tapp third.
Connor Hamblen was happy for his efforts today. It was a tough day today, but with the result of it, it suddenly feels like nothing. I'm so happy I won today. I didn't expect it at all, said the pleased winner.
The stage couldn't turn out any better than this. Connor Hamblen did a perfect job today, said Andreas Brasen, manager of ABK, after the race.
