Nathaniel Wittelsbacher closes deal

The many climbs in Esquel Climbs didn't give any good ideas for the riders. No riders attacked the entire stage through. When the final climb was near, the strongest riders settled themselves in front of the peloton. RGI took a confident lead, supporting Nathaniel Wittelsbacher. The devistating tempo set by RGI crushed rider by rider. When Nathaniel Wittelsbacher ran out of supporting riders, he had only 3 other competitors to beat. One of them, Caspar Rouet (Cycling Cows), launched a quick attack and managed to sit a lone in front for a short time. He only had Nathaniel Wittelsbacher and Salem El Kitli (A Siberia) behind him now. Caspar Rouet could not keep the tempo high, and eventually, both Nathaniel Wittelsbacher and Salem El Kitli passed him by.
Salem El Kitli launched the sprint, but Nathaniel Wittelsbacher outrunned him and became the winner.
Today's stage fit well for me - I simply had to try my luck. And see what happened?, said a smiling Nathaniel Wittelsbacher. The winner had no other comments, he quickly went to the team bus in order to celebrate the win.
The stage couldn't turn out any better than this. Nathaniel Wittelsbacher did a perfect job today, said Marc Robinson, manager of RGI, after the race.
