Jonas Pro Cycling's Hélio Albuquerque set an unbeatable tempo in the time trial race, World Championships ITT. Without hesitating or looking back, Hélio Albuquerque powered ahead on the flat roads. Fastest on all split times, he secured his victory with a good gap to the second on the stage, Scottie Cochrane from rouches. Ruslans Liepezers (Drapeau Noir) conquered the third place only a few seconds slower than Scottie Cochrane.
Jonas Pro Cycling's Hélio Albuquerque didn't hide his joy when winning the World Championships ITT. It's incredible. I didn't expect this at all. I just wanted to try, I aimed for being 5th or 6th, but suddenly I was in the lead! said the happy winner.
The manager of Jonas Pro Cycling was proud of his rider today. Hélio Albuquerque has been training and preparing himself for this race. It's an important victory - both for Hélio Albuquerque but also for the team.
