Canard Solutions B's Garcia Periate defeated his nearest competitors when the peloton arrived at the finishing line in Kerch - Lenine. Vešo Vukcevi? from SKolbe opened the sprint with Garcia Periate right behind him, though Vešo Vukcevi? had no chance to follow his competitors when Garcia Periate boosted ahead. Garcia Periate won the stage only a few inches ahead of Borussia Milano's Cristoforo Edescalzi who took the second place. Vešo Vukcevi? barely held his position as third.
My legs felt good today, so when the end was near, I gave it everything I had, said Garcia Periate after winning Kerch - Lenine. My team supported me well, they helped me sitting in the perfect position for a sprint.
