Jip Schoenmakers, Scorpions POPRAD, was the fastest rider among the participants in the individual time trial race, Kirovakan ITT. Jip Schoenmakers was incredible fast on the final kilometres, as he was only second at the last split time. Infront of him was Scorpions POPRAD's Richard Kyncl who became second overall on the stage. Another interesting name was Spartak Medvedev from Ischukin who started out with an incredible tempo, which he of course couldn't keep going. He lost many important seconds on the second part of the route, which moved him to the third place overall.
I'm very happy for my win today. It means a lot to me, said Jip Schoenmakers and continued: I couldn't have done this without my team. I can't thank them enough.
It's good to see Jip Schoenmakers fulfilling his ambitions winning this stage. He deserves the victory more than anyone else, said the proud manager of Scorpions POPRAD, Mick.
