Gerald Imio?ek brings stage win for ProgressTeam

The tough and steep time trial, Pikes Peak ITT, was very exciting, as nothing was termined before the final riders finished. Tom Meijerigh (Scussasebici) set the best time when he finished the stage, while Godofredo Osorio (På Rull) came in only a few seconds slower. As everyone thought Tom Meijerigh would win, the split times suddenly showed that one of the last 5 riders had the possibility of winning. Gerald Imio?ek of ProgressTeam ended up beating Tom Meijerigh with no more than 5 seconds, which insured him the stage win on the steep time trial.
I'm very happy for my win today. It means a lot to me, said Gerald Imio?ek and continued: I couldn't have done this without my team. I can't thank them enough.
It's good to see Gerald Imio?ek fulfilling his ambitions winning this stage. He deserves the victory more than anyone else, said the proud manager of ProgressTeam, Szczotek.
