Joakim Ask battles to victory

Joakim Ask was the fastest rider in the peloton when Biscarrosse Streets was coming to an end. Joakim Ask speeded up and managed to get several meters ahead of the competitors in the ordinary sprint. Behind him was Manu Fortin, ALAITZ ATHLETIC TEAM, struggling with Mick van Dartel from Scorpions POPRAD. Mick van Dartel saw his competitor get across the finishing line only a few miliseconds before himself, while both of them could only watch while Joakim Ask raised his hands for the victory.
I'm very happy for my win today. It means a lot to me, said Joakim Ask and continued: I couldn't have done this without my team. I can't thank them enough.
Hoppelhase, manager of Laetta, was happy with the result: The whole team did well today. Everything turned out as we hoped, and luckily, Joakim Ask was the strongest rider out there today. The proud manager didn't hide that he was satisfied with Joakim Ask's result. Joakim Ask did well. No one deserved the victory more than him. He put his focus on this stage long ago, and he kept his motivation high. I'm happy for him and the team, said Hoppelhase.
