As you all probably know, the wage system was not functioning for quite a while.
It had problems before as well.
Now, I have fixed these problems and you will start paying wages again (currently only in place for trainers and the magazine, as far as I recall).
Either way, this time I plan to keep it in place for good, so I hope you have enough money to pay the small sums (and not go bankrupt!) :)

Team AEK: You will have to let your trainers retire 'again' as soon as I re-activate it.
Opium Fuled: Yours should have retired correctly and give you notifications.
Yuri: Yours will have to retire again when I re-activate.

| | | There's a known bug with the link structure. Some links in the game link to a different path to the teams. Those should be rare, and most removed already. But some still exist. Feel free to report such links to me in PM and I can fix them.
The right link structure is /team/Team_Name.

I tried to look at retired riders of my former team (http://www.cyclingsimulator.com/?page=Teams&profile=Cyklisticky%20spolek%20PEKAC; the team was never active in fact, when I came back to start playing, it only had 2 riders) and most of its riders were retired according to the old system (i.e. before retirement was cancelled and reintroduced).
The link forwards me to the front page.

It's not that important, though, so we will see.
I'm glad you like it. Personally, I'm a big fan of the community additions and all the history/lore. The stuff that makes all these fictive data points come alive.

| | | Pierre's argument is strong. It might get easier to just stop age at 65 and say "retired from working" or whatever. It could be even a visualization thing; age in the DB can still be calculated as normal but in the page be shown as 65. No matter if there's evident mismatch between seasons "active" and age; and total retirement evokes something much happier than death. |

| | | I've never really been impressed reg. the Trainers section of the game. Very often the riders gain points from races with other abilities than they train in. Besides, Nick writes that trainers cost money now, so I wanna go Trump and sack most of them :-D
Not more than 4 riders are allowed for a trainer, but he must be able to train all four riders in the exact same ability I presume (for instance CL) ?
BTW, I get the exact same fee as Wonderdee..!

It took 10-11 days from the time Nick posted, it happened somewhere between yesterday (2/12) 23:00 and today (3/12) 12:00. I'll keep an eye on the next fee, will it be a proper week or will it be some random 10 day time? you never know ;) |

| | | I would definitely like the economy page to be made a lot clearer. At least the bug fix on the wages not showing up, but I would also prefer the page to be season based (or at least mention how far back the costs and income go)
