As you have probably all noticed, the three winners of the Tour Design Competition have already been added to the game a few weeks ago. Volta de Lagoa dos Patos had the honour of being the first new tour to already take place.
Since me and Nick were quite happy with the quality of the competition, and there was still room in the lower divisions for more tours, we have decided that two more could be added, one in Div6 and one in Div7.

Division 6 will host Namibia Odyssey of the Oryx, because it was the highest voted Tour staged in Africa, which was the only continent without an OCM Tour.

Division 7 will welcome Japan Tour of the Sanreizan, because although Perm Tour is officially Asian, that continent deserves a Tour staged in a country that's completely Asian as well.

I hope the managers in the lower divisions will enjoy these two new tours, and that they will get worthy winners.
Jerseys will hopefully be added soon to all the new Tours.

There are King stages, they are just only visible on the main Tour page. I made the same mistake when checking them. :D

Nice one, good to see more tours. It's extremely fun to participate.

Regarding this line: "I hope the managers in the lower divisions will enjoy these two new tours, and that they will get worthy winners."

I hope powerhouse teams don't drop divisions to conquer these tours. It's legitimate problem which drains all the fun to new players and more casuals ones.

Finally have a tour to participate in after 2/3 seasons of training and learning (6/9 months), don't worry you can get destroyed by a team where their water carrier is better than your captain.

I have sent Nick the jersey designs for the following tours:

  Edmonton Red Deer Tour
  Odyssey of the Oryx
  Volta da Lagoa dos Patos

I will design the shirts for Tour of the Sanreizan and Vuelta a Valpara√¨so if the creators of this tours want me too.

Nice to see the tours expanding. After all, tours are the most fun element of the game in my opinion. Big thanks to everyone involved!

They should be added fairly quickly, but definitely before the end of next season. ;)

I see one small thing about Tour of the Sanreizan.

The 2nd in GC gets only 1k, guess it should have been 10k.

The winner of the Orxy Tour is going to be intresting to see. Will it be a CB with some CL skills? Or a CL with CB skills? Are there any type of this riders in the game at all? But I do like it opens up for other types of riders then normal.

My former rider http://www.cyclingsimulator.com/?page=Rider%20Profile&id=1003290 could be a good GC rider for this tour.

Well I'am searching the riders list at the moment.
  But there are very few.
Petescu would do very nice in Oryx Tour.:)

Oryx has some incredible stages. Would be nice to have some cobble-climb one day races

Also looks like a tour where you could have a mountain rider winning the SC

Edit: Love the look of the Japanese TT arguably just a RotM lite though

I sold Petescu to early. Guess there would have been teams around 6th that would liked his service now :)

@Henri: Only three plus the stages in Orxy.

  http://www.cyclingsimulator.com/?page=Race&race=Bujumbura+GrandPrix
  http://www.cyclingsimulator.com/?page=Race&race=Criterium+Qiantong

But you got the HL CB one day races, and a HL CBer could challenge on some of this stages too. Bit sad this tour is down in 6th, since I dont think there will be many teams with a HL CBer or CL CBer in the squad.

Edit: Its good that 6th div get a tour, but guess a more normal tour would have fitted better. Nothing against Orxy too. As mention above, good to see a tour that open ups for not normal rider types.

  @Team WonderDee
  You are right.
I found some but none of the managers has a wildcard.:(
  So I leave them alone.

There is one team with a lot of these riders.
But he is in division 7 now.
I bet he would like this race.

  Rock Tour Team Hungary
He is in division 6 now. My mistake.
Not the greatest cobble riders. But he has a team for this Tour.

So not bad, and lot of them are in teams around 6th div too.

A rider like Xalvador Arispana is young, perfect fit in skills and in a team in 6th div.

Yeah I saw these all the past minutes.
But there aren't much. A cobble climber will be interesting now for lower divisions if you see one in your talent feature or hirelist.
  That is positive I think.

My rider Montrell Fuzzolino had the ideal stats for this tour, with good in cb, but unfortunately he maxed at the moment I was going to train his cb. Still a good rider though, he might be able to compete there some day in the future.

I don't think their are a lot of managers interest in buying a rider for these tours, not that I say that the guys from Wonderdee or KRV Rapid Habsburg aren't any good. But it is really hard to stay in a certain division. If you have 1 or 2 descent riders they will grab enough points to get you from 8 to 6, then back to 7, to 5. When you're in the higher divisions it's easier to plan some sort of strategy but I don't think this will work for managers in division 6 and lower.

Don't get me wrong though, these tours are really great and I will do anything I can to join one, but a few days a go I was checking out the Tour of Sanreizan, and now I am in division 6... :P

I'm hoping that they'll make tours for D8 after this as well. All of the teams should get a chance to compete in a tour

Agreed. I was hoping to sign up tomorrow but I've just dropped down to 8. Got a race in the morning and I'll climb back up to 7 if I come in the top 3. Fingers crossed.

I had the opposite problem. Was needing a 2nd place in my race to climb to D7, but ended up finishing with a 1st, 3rd, and 7th place which actually threw me up into D6! Great from a race prospective, but now I'm not able to sign up for the D7 tour.
