Brasov Pavaje Piatra is a race dedicated to cobbler specialists (roughly translated the race name means Brasov Cobble Stone) organized in the wonderful city Brasov, located in the centre of Romania and surrounded by mountains.

The race itinerary can be divided in two: the first part is a 25 km road from Bran to Brasov, the second part is made of 10 laps of 5 km in the centre of Brasov city.
The road from Bran to Brasov has no significant difficulties, it is mainly flat, except for a couple of small hills, and it passes by several tourist attractions:
- Bran Castle, an exceptionally preserved castle promoted as Castle of Vlad Tepes (Romanian king that inspired the Dracula character), although some say he never entered this building
- Rasnov town and Citadel, a nice town at the foot of the spectacular Bucegi Mountains
- Zarnesti, the main gateway to the exceptional Piatra Craiului mountain
The circuit in Brasov is organized in the main touristic area, comprising the historic centre, including the famous Piata Sfatului, the surroundings of Black Church (Biserica Neagra) and the Schei neighbourhood, where the riders have been prepared a total of 800 m of cobbles (Streets Costitei, Vrancei and Curcanilor). As the peloton will ride 10 laps, so a total of 8 km of cobbles, only the strongest cobblers will be favourites to break away and dispute the finish in a small bunch sprint.
