For this next part of season 54, World Communism Team was first entered into Neath Nocturne, a Welsh race where Michel Ngabo managed to earn 7th place and score some points for the team.
This was followed by a trip to the Americas, for the team, to race in Nassau Streets with the same captain, this time again Michel Ngabo had a decent performance, and registered 4th place on the day, just shy of an official result.
Crossing onto the Pacific coast of the continent, World Communism Team was then lined up in Melipilla - Melipilla, this time with Addis Gebreselassie given a chance to lead and ride for himself. The Ethiopian was also able to stay close to the front and finish in 7th position. Paving the way for promotion to Division 4, for the first time ever in World Communism Team history.
The team them moved back over to Europe, where before making its official Division 4 debut, it was due to race again at Division 5 level in Lanark - Hamilton. On the undulating roads of the Scottish Lowlands, hill sprinter Kuumba Rusesabagina was able to cross the line in 4th position. An encouraging position but a rather frustrating near miss once again for an official result.
As an actual Division 4 debut, the team stayed in Northern Europe to race in Rebild Bakker, but the magic did not happen and this first was a hard lesson with Addis Gebreselassie only managing a distant 17th place without quite rising to the occasion.
Then to close this bit of the season World Communism Team flew over to Saskatchewan in far away Canada, to attempt an early attack in Saskatoon Race, but without luck, as team veteran Xolani Lamola failed to finish with the leading group. And with every breakaway attempt failing.

Thank you.
Congrats!
Congratulations on reaching 4th Division!
Thanks, for the last few points scored, I still had Rusesabagina available. He started his break only after Rebild Bakker. But yes, I didn't have my best lineup available throughout that period.
Makes it even more impress with three guys on TF recharge!!
@Fedor,
I guess I will only find out how much my team can score in Division 4 when I have the full squad available.
Currently I have three of my best elements on a TF recharge break. So I am not at my strongest.
@Rob
I'd say the points intake is very steady now. I no longer have those big drops and jumps.
I still think I will make it to FoW, there is still plenty of time and a small margin of points between us and Div 5.
Congrats on division 4 and some good unofficial results. Are you starting to spread points across the whole season or still bunched together? If spread out then I am sure that I will see your team more often we are hovering around D3 & D4 more often these days with a lot of unofficial results. Does this effect the plans for FoW? My time might still fall back to division 5 in time for that tour dep
Interesting turn of events.
Stabilization in Div 4 is extremely difficult.
