After a little disappointing season last year, The Norwegian Wood Talent of Team Formand United shines again.
"Odd" Oddvar Helgesen this time grabbed a Bronze medal at the strong terrain in Epuyén Climbs. It was his fifth top ten in eight matches this season - promising, eh?
It though looked like Helgesen could have been the winner at the final climbs, but he could not keep up the pace.
Kerry Donovan and Chase Falcone passed him by.
- I lost a little power. Maybe too much Omega 3 was Fuglsang style ... don't know. Drank a whole bottle of Norwegian salmon blood before the race!, Oddvar admits.
Team Manager cheered at the press meeting though:
- I have had a very record high bid offered for a private deal recently, but I want to keep Oddvar this season. He looks stronger than last year, where I was a little sad maybe.
