Lindfield Locknuts saw the opportunity recently to register for the Rundfahrt der Schlösser der Alpen. The original plan was to get young Pole Czeslaw Tarka into top form for an attempt at the GC. Sadly his didn't work out as his training was poor. Naughty boy.
Instead his teammate Edan Hurless was available and made a good effort, finishing 6th, 4th, 2nd and 2nd on the four successive stages to manage 2nd on GC and achieve a resounding victory in the Youth Classification.
This had the happy impact of raising the team into Division 3, so with luck an attempt at the Norway Tour might be possible.
