Aurel Neagoe breaks his duck

  28-year-old Romanian Aurel Neagoe is now in his sixth season with Linfield Locknuts and in that time has proved to be a valuable and reliable domestique. Until today that is.
  
  Competing in Division 5’s Grandprix Dermatio, he surprised everyone - especially himself - by beating many superior riders to take the win. This is also the first race the Locknuts have retained, after Hagen Hunzberger won the race last season.

  Thanks! That’s the strange thing, I don’t think he was. I will admit I didn’t record my tactics but he wasn’t our strongest rider for the race profile. If it’s a BA though the race report would say so wouldn’t it?
