Lindfield Locknuts made a move in the market today by adding a young support rider, Clementin Moga. Manager Sits explains: “ We received a very helpful tip from fifea nicolae of shok2, and secured Clementin for just over $34k. I think this is good value for a 21-year-old rider who we aim to turn into a useful support for flat road sections. It’s an area where our squad is not strong, and sometimes that can let us down. We think Clementin will be useful on the hills in time as well.
“The sad news is that, because this deal has made a hole in our finances we will have to say goodbye to one of our veteran riders. So after the Yarzob Climbs on Wednesday, we will have to let go Tito Valcárcel. Tito has been with us since September and has been a really handy contributor to our climbing. But now we have Wilhelm Bang trained up as a super climber, we can cash in.
“During his short time with us, Tito delivered us a surprise win in the Quweira GP, which was his only ever win. So it’s been a fruitful partnership for team and rider. All the best Tito.”

UPDATE: Tito is saved - team mate Victorien Hoffman (35) is ready to retire, so will be released after his final race, and take up his new job!
Good pick-up, he might have ended up at another IoM team!
Bravo Tito. Hope he will bounce back.
