Together with ensuring the presence at both Germany Tour and Nederlandse Tour, Greenride succeeded in signing a lucrative sponsorship deal with a beverage concern.
The Green Fairy Absinthe will be our co-sponsor aside Brothel Sauna Diana.
How we ran into an absinth retailer as sponsor? Simple. Greenride expects it's riders to ride and live to the max. The Green Fairy provides the paramount medium to get to the max: absinthe! The fact we are both green bonds us even more.
How we got the idea of approaching The Green Fairy is simple. During a race last week Oscar Balsemao had a chat with befriended Nightmare Chaos sprinter Moroshkin about the secrets of their success. Moroshkin said it was no longer meth that did the job, he was now having absinthe in his canteens, and he is riding fresher than ever. So that's where the whole thing started.
Sauna Diana is now pooring absinthe as well by the way. An awful experience according to Greenride riders. And every Tuesday nights until 23:00 happy hour!
And yes, we have a fresh and crispy jersey for the next few months :)
