Happy Gaetano Olivo after first win

Early on the stage, five optimistic riders attacked on the first climbs of Turrialba - Irazu Volcano (U23). They managed to keep a gap between them and the peloton until they reached the final climb. At the bottom of the climb, the group of favourites passed them. Rider by rider, they couldn't keep up with the tempo set by Onie, who were supporting Clemente Catalan. Right behind the riders of Onie was Gaetano Olivo and Osvaldo Canas lurking. Clemente Catalan looked strong, and seemed to have a good day, but when Osvaldo Canas launched an attack, only Gaetano Olivo could follow. Gaetano Olivo made a counter-attack and was suddenly alone in the front, as Clemente Catalan caught up Osvaldo Canas once again. Gaetano Olivo secured his victory without problems, while Clemente Catalan was faster in the sprint than Osvaldo Canas.
Gaetano Olivo was happy with the result. It has been my dream for a long time to win this stage, and finally I succeed, said the smiling winner.
Max, manager of Mandragora Toscana, was happy with the result: The whole team did well today. Everything turned out as we hoped, and luckily, Gaetano Olivo was the strongest rider out there today. The proud manager didn't hide that he was satisfied with Gaetano Olivo's result. Gaetano Olivo did well. No one deserved the victory more than him. He put his focus on this stage long ago, and he kept his motivation high. I'm happy for him and the team, said Max.
