The seventh edition of Norway Tour is about to start and we see twenty eager teams at the start. The fierce battle will be fought over the Green Jersey with riders in topform. My personal favourites are, Red jersey; Drazen Cetnik, Green jersey; Yrjänä Sistonen, White jersey; Laurentiu Timofte

   Team EksilFG

With Hafsteinn Sveinlaugursson, Team EksilFG has a very good, local hero from the Faroer Islands They are willing to give it a shot at the Sprinting Classification. The team is well suited for the flat stages that end in a bunch sprint.

   Bing Team

Bing Team is riding a home tour and with Morten Holen they have a decent rider that can please the crowds. Also in the team is Norwegian hero Torgeir Brenna. Those two will competing for the victories for this team.

   CyclingClubChomutov

Drazen Cetnik is a former world champion, and the star of CyclingClubChomutov. Recently transfered from Top Division team Red Star Drazen Cetnik is expected to do very good here. Maybe even a victory is in place.

   tomba

tomba has Anthony Soetens, the Belgian climber and he is in topform. This means he is one of the riders that worked hard for this tour and he wants to do good here. With a decent climbers squad we can count this team amongst the favourites.

   Grant Thornton

Grant Thornton wants to repeat his Sprinting Classification victory with, most likely Emmanuel Locklin. The team lacks some team spirit due to some injuries. But in the end they want to do good in the flat stages.

   Cycling team FPS

Cristofor Fritea and Victorino Gonzaga are the rider for Cycling Team FPS. They are a team focussed on the time trials and Norway Tour has two of them. We can see this team in front on the first stage and in the stage in Bergen.

   Qvibra Pro Cyclingte

  Birger

Varg is the captain for Qvibra Pro Cyclingte and they want a good result in the mountains. Maybe even a stage win. A top nine in the General Classification is possible, but nothing fancy.

   Ultras Spirit

Ultras Spirit have Erik Williamson and he wants to win Norway Tour for a third time. He has had two very terrible season without any good result and he wants to improve again. And what better race than Norway Tour.

   Borussia Milano

Bart De Moor is de captain for Borussia Milano and this Belgian climber is decent with a nice team behind him. With some experience in tours and a result in the Race of the Minutemen this rider knows to finish uphill, infront. He can surprise the team with a good result in the climbing stages.

   Mark Pro Team

Mark Pro Team has Nam-jae Heo, the South Korean champion and they want to win the Sprinting Classification. The team is prepared for the flat roads and we will see the South Korean team in front. They want to win as many flat stages as possible.

   Wizzyweb

One rider that is watched by many sprinters is Sammy Ågren. This Swede for Wizzyweb is one of the favourites for the Sprinting Classification. A great sprinter on the flat stages with experience in the bigger races. It is time he gets a victory for Wizzyweb.

   Conero cycling team

The Italians of Conero cycling team do not have a really good team. But with Jammy Valkenaers they might be able to pull off a stunt. The Youth Classification for the twentyfour year old from Belgium is possible. If he has good legs.

   Drollevangers

The Dutch team Drollevangers have a similar jersey as Conero cycling team. And they want the Youth Classification jersey aswell. They are attacking it with Romanian Laurentiu Timofte. And this climber is very good and a favourite for the white jersey.

   Andeby

  The Norwegians of

Andeby are ready for Norway Tour. Their home tour is attacked by their two timetrial specialists. They will be seen in the two stages against the clock and not in the other stages. Manager Donald claims: “They are strong enough to stay in front.” We will see about that.

   Siete Villas

Siete Villas is having a problem. They signed up for Norway Tour with Julito Alonso as their captain but he slipped the other day on a piece of soap. He should have picked it up. He is injured now and will not be back soon. Everything that happens in the tour is bonus.

   TJ Banik OKD

Bohuslav Racko, winner of the Sprinting Classification in Norway Tour a few seasons back, returns with his new team TJ Banik OKD. Can he do it again. The team is good and they should be able to get decent results in the flat stages.

   SupperSoppene

The Norwegians of SupperSoppene have an all Norwegian team and this will give them extra fans. Ivar Rogne is their captain and he is very decent in the mountains. With the knowledge he has he might have an advantage over the others. A stage win is possible

   Team Trier

Can Farley Redman surprise Trier. That is the question and if he does he surprises us all. This great climber is in the autumn of his career and he wants to finish it in style. A victory would make everybody extatic. A top nine is more realistic and maybe he is just too old.

   Hommerts Cycling Team

Yrjänä Sistonen is almost ready for Norway Tour and he could be in topform. With topform he is the man to beat for the Spriniting Classification. A great battle will unfold for the green jersey.
With Chaloupka they have a backup plan.

   NSCT

Last team to enter is NSCT of Sweden. With a full Swedish team they are working for Kevin Västberg. A great rider that could well win in Norway Tour, a stage or even a jersey. The lack of team mates will be the reason that this team will not finish in front.

Nice review. Although it is rumoured Willie Caluwé will be the sprinting captain for Team EksilFG and he is in topform. Also Kent Coosemans will be the captain for Grant Thornton.
