Haute – Normandie
The French cobble classic in the north west of France attracted many good teams. With surprises in the first stage it was still open who would claim what position in the end. Vojislav Bogicevic had the best position but the cobble sections still had to come. Many attacks on his position followed but he could hold them all off. In the end he secured a much needed victory for his manager Luveaucek. Frank Dodge secured a second place in the General Classification and a first place in the Youth Classification.

Classics
Mito - Tokyo
The big race in Japan is that of Mito – Tokio, a hunderd twentyone kilometer long race that end in the Tokyo. It is always a sprint race and many great sprinters have already won it. This season it was again a packed field with many good sprinters at the start. And with the only climb in the beginning of the race all the teams managed to stay focussed towards the end. When the finish was close it was Sammy Ågren who took the wheel of Otto Landa and jumped out of there in the last corner. Knud Øgendahl followed him and they left Otto behind. Sammy was much faster then Knud and could celebrate his biggest victory.

At the end of the cobble season we have the division three classic Turnai – Turnai. Through the Belgian fields and on poorly paved roads the riders battle eachother for this fine trophy.
It was Kuba Augustyniak who was the strongest as he jumped away more then ten kilometers before the end to secure a solo victory in the streets of Turnai. Behind him Tony Lilja outsprinted Ferdynand Szymczak for second.
