  Division A

   Velikiye Luki – Gruzdovo
The Russian start of the world tour is as always in Velikiye Luki. This cobblestone race is a very hard test for all the riders. The organizers have created another great and difficult course for the riders to complete. As always early in the race we saw a break away taking a few minutes from the pack. In the end however the captains were all isolated and had to do it on their own. Wilhelm Bjørnstad, PCG, took off alone searching for the victory. He was followed by Reid Lenard, POM Wonderful and Axel Ravn, Pro Cycling Manager. Axel Ravn was the strongest overtaking Reid Lenard, who finished second and Wilhelm Bjørnstad who was third. Denmark was the first leader of this years World Tour.

   Bukarest – Sinaia
The Romanian world tour race was all about the mountains. These Romanian mountains are familiar for the riders in division A. But every time they strike fear in the bodies of the riders. There was even a rumour that the riders wanted to shorten the stage due to snow and ice in the mountains. It was very cold still but the organizers did not want to hear any of it. We want to see heroes and battles between man versus man and man versus nature. And thus the race started. The cold weather took its toll and many riders could not complete the race. Only a small group of riders could harnas the conditions and from them Anghel Naidin, Ultras Spirit, was able to repeat his victory of two seasons ago. He was well ahead of Frank Kint, Stroopwafel and Chad Talkington, Cyclists.

  Division B

   Lozuvatka - Kryvyi Rih
The ouverture of division B is in the Ukraine. Lozuvatka is the starting city and the riders have 194 kilometers to go to Kryvyi Rih. The roads are not all that good and the cobble sections make it even

harder for the riders. The peloton was waiting for the very last moment to come in action but on the last three cobble sections it exploded. The Czech squad was up front terrorizing the peloton and Radomir Andrle, The Killers, took a small gap and steadily left the front group. Mario Llani, Team Zor, and You Xiang, Asymm Project tried to reel him in but they were too late. Radomir Andrle won the race ahead of Mario Llani and You Xiang.

   Classica Verona
While they riders in division A had to battle the cold weather division B had their second race in Italy. A nice summer breeze blew through the town of Verona and the crowd was enjoying themselves with cappuccino and amaretto. The riders were treated with the many climbs the surroundings of Verona have to offer. And a well prepared Australia was very keen on taking home as many points as possible. They controlled the course and were very content of delivering the winner of the race in the form of Tom Bella, VCBotafogo. He beat Harlington Tlhomelang, SK12KOTH and Wayne Harding, Orica Green Edge in a great battle on the final climb.

  Division C

   Sapporo - Mount Asahi
Irasshai, hajimenmashite. Welcome and how do you do. That is how you greet new people in Japan. And that is how we greeted the first ever division C world tour race. Not less then thirteen new countries entered. Some big countries, some small countries.
They were all ready and nervous for this Japanese climbing race that would gave them a chance to receive their first world tour points. Dirceu Scahisi, Joss, was the first to attack on the final mountain. He was soon followed by fellow South American Antonio Sastre, Velo Club Bored Man. But the man in form came from a different continent and by the way he was passing them, from a different planet even. Vergílio Nandigna, WalrusPT, was in topform. He cruised by the two others and took the first division C victory with a minute ahead of number two.
