Rotterdam – Amsterdam
From Rotterdam to Amsterdam, that is a race that travels on the most flat roads the riders will ride on. The only lumps in the course are the passings of bridges. All the big sprinters were present at the early team presentation at the “Stadhuisplein” in Rotterdam. The people from Rotterdam are very sport minded and gathered around the riders like flies to syrop. When the riders arrived in Amsterdam the same amount of riders were still in one bunch together. The early break away was caught and Cadman Kantor, thedutchies, secured a victory for England. He beat Sebastiaan Pruischer, Curitiba, of the Netherlands and German ace Benni Manstein, Team GER.
Ningde – Luoyuan
China was too far away for some of the division B teams. But in the end there was a nice field that entered this sprint race in the eastern part of China. The hills that were on the map were of no significance to the riders and the complete field stormed towards the finish in Luoyuan. The biggest surprise was Hungarian Detari Catalin, Silencio, who won this race | | and made the Hungarian campaign finally succesful. He beat South African Culvert Roberts, nonnies and Scottisch Leon Morison, Masters90.
Oslo Grand Prix
Oslo is the final race in the World Tour. And it is a race for the riders that can do it all. An allround race around the Norwegian capital gave England the chance to celebrate their victory in the World Tour. And gave the others a final race to take revenge. Spain was on top for the second time in a row. Urbano Azu, Team airik, beat everybody else to lift the trophy again. Second was Canadian Kirk Narramore, Connaught, and third was Scottish Fabian Sauer, Ron Cycling Team
Tabor GrandPrix
This last race was probably forgotten by many managers but not by the French manager. Rantanplan failed in many ways this season in the World Tour and this was his last time to make it up. And he did. He won the Czech race in Tabor with Thierry Carlier, De Coppis. And he also secured a seventh place, bringing him back in division A. Second here was Radovan Tuharsky, Pomada, from Slovakia and third was Welshman Hartley Rich, Ocaña.
