The World Tour has begun
by Yuri, at 6/1-13 - 15:35 GMT

And the nations gathered in the eastern parts of Europe and the big nations, the top 20 of the world are facing the big cobbles in Russia. Velikiye Luki is the start of a terrible race to Gruzdovo. And these riders await a task that they will need the same courage as young hero Alexander Matrosov. And all the best cobblers joined to the race. Some of them came straight from the Tweedaagse van Antwerpen.

As we see the race move to its final hour, the best cobblers have moved forward. The big race in Belgium does linger in the legs of the riders. And we can see Lowell Shingleton did party to much after his victory. He lost touch with the big cobblers with a little bit extra. Firmino Botelho was the first one to pass him in the final meters but, coming second he was not the best. Bartoli

Rivera and Sebastien Persoens finished on the podium. The best rider was an American however, Edward Simon beat them all and won the first World Tour race.

Division B also started their race. Because division B is filled with nations without much resources they only have to go the Ukraine. The roads lead us from Lozuvatka to Kryvyi Rih, two closely related town in the Dnipropetrovska oblast.
We, however, regret to inform you that some nations could not be bothered to show up. Iran, New Zealand, Hungary, Argentina and Slovakia are the nations that forfeited this race.
The real riders had a big race ahead of them racing around the lake of and towards the steel capital of Eastern Europe. Around the Karachunivske reservoir and into the longest city of the world. Saint Lucian riders took the lead and tried to keep everyone

together. Hal Terrell was in the drivers seat. But Saint Lucia is not a strong country. He was first passed by Pavel Ostrovsky who took third place. Kauto Turunen and Elias Asisson fought the war of the Nordics. Elias Asisson beat Kauto Turunen for the win in the Ukraine and he received the flowers and won the first World Tour in division B this season.Elias Asisson beat Kauto Turunen for the win in the Ukraine and he received the flowers and won the first World Tour in division B this season.

Simon, Rivera, Persoens: what a podium! All top cobblers!
Sad to see France fails there but there is always the CoN Paris.

Super Velo at 23:20 7/1-2013
Do they really have cobbles in Russia Finz? I though they only had cobbles in Belgium and northern France. LOL Good article.
