   Div 7 classics:
   Day 13

On the far away shores of Indonesia, this cobble classic takes place. Unlike may Div1 cobble clasics, Brebes-Brebes did fill up. After a fierce battle, Hipólito Aranha (The Black Cats) came in third, Gaspar Sarrazin (Comfius) ended second just behind Carter Stickney (Saxon UK), who had a great season winning five CB races, rocketeering his team into Div 5.

   Day 56

The field in Uttendorf- Matrei in Osttirol was so strong, it was given its own preview. Darrell Randel (Burgus 2016 4Ever) was without doubt the most famous name, but he dissapointed. The podium existed of Logan Vines (Windy Millars) in third, Pierre Theijs (WOE) in second and the winner, Magnus Ekrot (Team Batumi Gold), making this the first classic win for the manager of the Armenian NT.

   Div 6 classics:
   Day 10

All the cobble specialists (and some noobs like don hamstre team) of Division 6 meet at the Budapest Meeting Point. On the tough Hungarian road, three riders weren't distacted by the warm goulash that the locals made for quitters. Domenico Puron ( Team Farnese Vini) came in third, just behind Lars Vilstrup (wielermaster). But they didn't stand a chance against Elías Asísson (POM Wonderful) who crushed the field winning his first classic.

   Day 84

When you hear a race called Bali Classic, you would immediately think it's being raced at the tourist resort in Indonesia. But nothing could be more wrong, because if you want to see this climbing classic, you will have to go to Nigeria. In this tough race, previously won by great names like eddie Ebersold and Isak Dammen, this rider got a hard-fought podium: third place was for Heribert Haberzettl (sivac), second for Ture Pettersson (TMobile), but they were defeated by Joan Francesc Poulin (BOBGrifter), making this his first result of the season, and his best ever.

   Div 5 classics:
   Day 8
   Clasico di Siracusa
got a great preview on the front page, and I understand why. The competition was really tough, but in the end Kim Madsen (Sons of the Desert) who got third place. Bertil Rachlin (Carnap Kickers) was the second Dane on the podium, but the winner came from Ireland: Hugh Stallings (Kingstowm) got first ever result and couldn't have done it in a better place.

Day 59
It looks impossible to race a full race in a midget country like Andorra, but the organizers of Juberri- Pas de la Casa managed to do it. Thet didn't make it Feleti Sabia (Twente Cycling Team) easy to ge his third place. Second place wasn't much easier to get, as Lazzaro Daccurto (team CAVALIERI PRATO) came over the finish line completely exhausetd. Who didn't seem to suffer under the hard parcours was Valentijn Lemmen (iniho Ameland), who got his first win of the season with a huge time gap.

   Div 4 Classics:
   Day 40

With one of the toughest finishing climbs of OCM, Critérium la Grasse isn't a party to ride for most riders. Three rider did party after the race, leaving behind them RotM winner Heiko de Wortelears (Rabo Utrecht CT). Rudi Valkeneers (Napoleon) was only just beaten by Bejamin Pardo (CC Ribadulla) and the winner Norbert Verbraecken (Faustus), who despite being a DH specialist, still fgot his team their first classic win on the steep finishing climb.

   Day 68

The field at Classic Oslo was packed with great riders, including Koos Zijlstra (Fertiberia Cajasur) and former winner Raoul Hamel (Nobeltorget Spinners). They were however defeated by excellent teamplay by Annodomini, who's riders Albert Bednarczyk and Antonio Radondo did everything perfect, except winning. Ingmar Mannerström (NSCT) gave his team a great victory by breaking away on the last descent, surprising all the others.

   Day 74

Finally a true sprinters classic, the
Baltimore Invitational, with famous ex-winners like Red Lobster and Alban Sergent, this cold only become a spectacular race. Gilbert Fondren (Seeds2) managed to get third place, just behind Oskar Rybárik (Pekarna Grusuplje). The victory was for the Potugese Ildefonso Avelar (PRS), who finally got his great result after finishing second in last seasons RotM SC.

  Day 78
   Orel-Kursk Classic
was the place for revenge for all the sprinters who didn't make the podium in Baltimore. It was Fathi Alsharaa (Lots o Huggin Bear) who got that revenge, claiming his first win and the Lybian national yersey. Team Katona's Lipták Aurél (3rd) and Kauto Turunen (suomi superstars) got beaten by this beast from Lybia, but were very happy with their podium.

   Div 3 Classics:
   Day 29

The first classic of Division three is a cobble classic. The roads around Tournai are so bad, that even the bits of the parcours that aren't cobble sections are so rough that many get into trouble. Titus Stauffer (YCO) got the third place, his first podium in this race after finishing fourth in season 16 (!). Second

Place was for Rowan Baird (Opium Fueled), who despite being a great cobbler has never won a cobble race. He is however only 25, so its only a matter of time. The winner obviously had home advantage, as Carel De Schutter was the only rider that knew every part of the track, despite riding for GLT27, an Australian team, that has been around since 2010 (!), much longer than many Top Division teams.

   Day 37

Being an all-round classic, Tour of Hawaii always brings surprises. Among the riders there were great names lik Jude Evans (Cremtec) and DC Crawford (Wizzyweb), but they didn't manage to get a podium. Ezequiel Branco (Locos) was the third man on the podium, well-known Slovomil Dittrich (NightmareChaos) stood one step higher. The winner however was a true all-rounder, only having lower than 50 points in DH, TT and CB, and the last two don't even matter in all-round races. We speak about Hermann Herzog (Rantanplan), who delivered his team one of the coolest new trophies around.

   Day 47

Despite being a famous classic, Rotterdam Classic didn't even come close to filling up, having only 90 riders who came to ride it. Not much to say about it then. Erben Wortelboer (Pelles Gazelles) claimed victory in front of Fergusen Gallacher (Canuck Racing) and Ingeman Bro (Hjurtehjul)

   Day 58

The French classic Zyte GP really isn't something to laugh about. Despite its downhills,it would take a fat man over a year to make it to the finish of this climbing classic. I don't even think he would get there, as some bits of the climbs are so steep that he would simply roll down the climb again. No fat men entered this race luckily, but very well-known names did. Third place was for Mason Mulligan (TheRhys), second came Viktor Bertkovic (Ponika) and first place was claimed by Dirceu Scahisi (Joss).

  Day 69

The VCK classic is very weird indeed. Despite its incredibly tough finishing climb, it still is a hilles race. Famous names like 'The Pilgrim' Pilgrims (SilenceLotteFan),and Zyte GP winner Scahisi didn't even make it to the top-9. Three man managed to stay in front of the others. Eliot Wacker (IndieRock) gave his team their second classic result of the season, finishing third. Normando Sanroma gave his team Team Albatros something to cheer for with a second place, but he couldn't defeat Zack Stroup (millskids army), a man that perfectly shows the strenght of England, being only 15th in the England ranking with 599 points (at the moment I write this), a total that many National Champions can only dream about.

Stay tuned for the last review...
