The moment of Kelvin which will be remembered for a long long time, was his steering action when he pulled the sprint in the last kilometer of Norwich-London in season 48. In OCM-tube the slowmotion of his actions has been watched for over 25,000 times by now. What happened? When he slipped down in the middle of the road he blocked the way for Samuel Jakobsen, Gil de Kerper, and most importantly Victoriana Feijoo (Team AEK), giving him some sort of headbutt. The action of Kelvin enabled Borges to sprint to the win unchallenged. While rumours spread that it was Kelvins revenge at his former teammates of Team AEK, he always denied bad intentions himself.
Although in season 52 he had brief spells at 12 Cycle and De Rode Lantaarn, most of his career he spend in two teams that are famous for reaching topdivision within a year after establishment (Aesop in 299 days, Silenzio in 334). The experience of Kelvin made him an invaluable member of these young squads and he was a key in their rapid rise.
Apart from victories in the bottomleagues of OCM, Kelvin never became much a winner. After his career as cyclist he became a trainer in Hungary for Silenzio and has a parttime job next to it in Debrecen in a refrigerators-shop.
