And these are the toughest mountains this team as seen. Turibio Portela finished 69th today as the teams best placed rider. "It was another tough day in the mountains" said manager Levi Armstrong, "Age, Doug, and Turibio all said they felt good today so I would have hated to see the results if they didn't have a good day."
Stage 5 is later today and it is a time trial up Mt. Jefferson. This team is not expecting any results but would welcome a surprise. The team will be board watching though as McKenzie is still in green though Matos from Honor et Patricia is starting a push. He would have to win the stage later today to take McKenzie out of Green. Yes the SC will be decided on the streets of Boston but he would like to be riding on those streets in it.
Come back later today for a Stage 5 review.
