Avataria has now been active for 2 months, since 9/7.
In the past month there has happened a lot in this team. The two pointpickers Morreira and Zafiu was surprisingly thrown out the door. "What is he thinking of now??" - Wondered the fans.
It turned out Chris Fabio had a plan. In came a climber named Navarro. A 31-year-old Argentine who mostly had run as a teammate in the upper divisions. He was lured by the opportunity to run as captain of Division 6. In came also a young talent in Torstein Solvang, with an average talent in climbing and hills, as well as a very good talent in downhill, he would help Navarro as a downhill guide. Thought they all ...
The truth was, from their own ranks it came up a huge climbing talent, F. Hamre.
The last month it has been run 5 oneday rides and we are halfway through the team's first tour. Due to training camp for Hamre, Navarro has mainly been captain. Already in his second race he got a great 2nd place, and put the team up to 5th Division!
This meant that the team could join Fast on Wheels, one tour that did not fit the team whatsoever. But Chris Fabio was stubborn and steadfast, and he registered as the first team of this tour.
Today, King stage was completed, and after 3 bad stages from Avataria, youngster F. Hamre got his first result ever. A 5th place! This led him up to second place in YC and seventh place in the GC. Later in the evening there is a 37 km long ITT, can he manage to cling to a paying position in the summary?
No matter what happens the rest of the tour, one thing is clear: Hammer (English translation of his name, Hamre) will be trained even more, and get back to the tour next year with both experience and ITT skills in his back pocket. Will he then hammer the trophy up on his wall!?

Gratulerer med Hamre!
Det er utrolig hvordan en blir hektet på tourer etter å ha fått den første smakebiten. Hamre blir en sterk tourrytter, når du får TT-centered han.
Good Luck
