It has already been one season since DaanVA returned to Red Brigade CT and it is fair to say that the team is up and running again. With Lai Ruilong as its captain, Red Brigade has managed to get some impressive results, including four wins in division 8. The next goal for the team will be to reach division 7 and start winning races there as well.
The coming season Red Brigade Cycling team will especially focus on tough sprint races where Lai Ruilong will be at his best. In the meantime we are working with talented riders such as Rick Palmer and Jannis Hagemans. Both youngsters have the potential to become the team’s next leader and win epic races. Rick already showed us with two top-ten finishes this season.
In addition to training Rick and Jannis, the team will also be on the lookout for new talents. Every now and then, one or two young riders will be invited for an internship to see if they have the talent to make it.
While being proud of our talent program, our top riders wouldn’t stand a chance without the support of their teammates. Veteran riders like Bas Dussel and Octaaf de Bougne bring in the much-needed experience, while also getting the occasional opportunity to ride for their own success. Lindsay, Jaspar, Hendrik, and Cid complete the team. Without guys like them, Red Brigade CT would not be where it is today.
All in all, Red Brigade Cycling Team is on its way up and who knows where this journey may end…

He surely will be happy to hear that!
We sure both did. Nonetheless he'll captain team HK in hill races.
