o.t.r.c's two home trained captains have lead the way this season. both chalmers kerwin and jacob roberts have brought back the points as expected.
their skills overlap in hill races with roberts captaining sprints and kerwin leading more all round hills races.
up untill this season they have supported each other with no help but the arrival of team mates and lead outs has helped get the outfit into div 4, winning our first race there.
we consider this a success so far but the seasons highlight was seeing kerwin as hill captain for the national side on the podium in Stavanger - Hauge (WT). the racing club staff want nothing more than to see him atop the podium in the saltire jersey at some stage.
our goals for season 21 are to establish the team in div 4 and invest more in the infrastructure of the club rather than totally prioritising team mates and get to the #1 ranked scottish team position. it wont be easy to stay there but we are looking forward to the challenge ;)
the new season will also begin the succesion planning process for kerwin who has two seasons left at somewhere near his best.
see you there!
