Bye Chinese Rider

Written by CycleMotor at 00:10 28/7-2011

Hong Kong star rider, Luan Zhanpeng, more known in CycleMotor team as the Chinese Rider, is leaving the team after racing in Vejle Bakker. This news has been advanced by Holger Czukay from his future team Asymm Project, but never confirmed by CycleMotor until now.

“Zhanpeng is a great rider and we are sad to see him leave CycleMotor, but this was the best option for both parts involved. He didn’t get as many results as he did in Drapeau Noir and he thinks he needs to move to forward in his career. Zhanpeng will move to Asian Project… sorry … Asymm Project and we wish him the best of luck.” said CycleMotor’s management in a press conference.

“I’m really glad for all the moments I spend in CycleMotor team and will try my best to get a good result in my last race for this team. Last season I got a 9th place on this race, this season I will try to improve that result.” said the motivated Chinese Rider.

With the Chinese Rider leaving CycleMotor the Paulo Futre’s Chinese Rider Department will also be closed.

“Every Chinese people have to come to see this historic race, there are several charters with a really nice commission for me that you can use, I really need to get as many money I can get with this race because I don’t know when I will find another team crazy enough to listen to me.” said the now unemployed Paulo Futre.

It's a really nice way to say goodbye, every rider on my team should do that :)

Drapeau Noir at 22:04 28/7-2011
In his last race on my team, he came 5th in a division 1.1 race, his best result above division 2! Apparently, it’s his way of saying goodbye ;-)

CycleMotor at 14:29 28/7-2011
A third place beating Salim Wajeeh the Best Hiller Award winner of last year. I have to start selling more riders so that they can get results :)
