We finish the season in 137th as the 4th best Canadian team. We also finished 4th in the WT, which I am pretty happy with, although we were only 10 points off 2nd!
I have barely had any time for OCM lately, so it's been 2 seasons since my last end-of-season update.
The results have been fairly steady. Gapper is very strong in the handful of races that suit him. Winfield is getting old but Pounds is still going strong and Metras is starting to captain some climbing races as well. Brace and Falin are doing okay in the hilly races, and thanks to training a bunch of solid young hillers, I should be able to keep my hill team going.
I expect Hickmand and Garry to be released soonish, with hopefully some young climbers taking their place.
Grabanski maxed high and should be a solid HL Captain in a few seasons. There are already 4 HL TMs for him, and Falin + Wilcoxson should be good enough to stay in support for a while.
Metras and Wardrop will gradually take over the climbing captain duties. I have a solid group 25-30 right now, but will need some more younger TMs and another potential captain soon.
