Today was an important day for Team Norrland. In its effort to promote youth riders, Team Norrland aligned a young team for the race Grenoble - Col du Galibier. But the mountainous short nervous race proved to be too hard for the young riders that team manager Raphaël aligned today.
A lot of hope were placed on the shoulders of Brent McColl, a young south african climber. Unfortunately, the results was not up to the expectation with only a 10th place on the french roads.
"I had good legs but others were stronger. And it was my first race as a captain. I will be back stronger" said McColl after the race. "We hope for better results. But the team is young and we will see more in the future" said Raphaël.
