I just voted for the OCM awards, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out thatour very own Jacenty Niezgoda is nominated for best downhiller of season 40. I don't think I can take credit for that, as the only result he got last season at our team was winning Syterpasset, which is a division 6 race, and as you might know, the DH-competition in the divisions above (or below, I'm never sure what means what in this context. I mean 6 and above, to be clear) division 5 is not that fierce. But obviously we are happy for Jacenty, and it was still nice to see my name on the ballot, which, as far as I know, has never happened.
So you can imagine my excitement when I saw I was nominated for best NT manager of the season. We finished 25th, which is I think the best we've ever done, and a result I am proud of as we finished above a few countries (the USA for example) which have far more riders. So we've had a good season, but I'm still very surprised and honoured that we've made it to the nominees. The NT is what kept me in the game at a certain point, and it feels great that we actually made an impression.

Thanks you both for accepting the bribes. And lets hope Jacenty can keep this up for a season or two.
DH is still a relatively small niche in comparison to other specializations, there are basically no more than 20 riders who get more than 2 results in DH races in a season, so when a rider has 4 results he can be quite sure to be nominated for the award :-)
Thanks for not mentioning the bribes. :)
Thank me,I made the WT category;)
