Never a good time

Written by Spin Doctors at 19:01 26/4-2016

Although there is never a good time to have a captain taken out through injury the timing of Wyles' 8 day lay off and crash out of a race we were well set up for has been particularly unfortunate.
Requiring a couple of results before Netherlands (around 170 points) and funds to TT centre Toll for a shot at the NL youth classification, Wyles' injury makes that look a tricky proposition.
Wyles has probably one shot at a result in Helsinki GP Mini and Toll will have to prove his worth in Grasse - Toulon and Criterium Monaco.
Cometh the the hour, Cometh the sprinter.

ah that's good, I just noticed he wasn't increasing much at the moment but I guess you spent a fair amount on the Netherlands and tour stuff

Spin Doctors at 11:38 25/5-2016
I hope not! His training slowed up a bit with lack of funds. I will get him to 64 TQ next week I hope. Need to max before too many race training points come. So far he's only had 1SP and that was after maxing SP so all good so far.

Ello Ello at 11:26 25/5-2016
  Has Abner maxed yet?

Spin Doctors at 19:21 30/4-2016
The money is less of an issue now as I'm selling Rippy - the poor rider will be effectively swapped for 6 TT points ;-)

Spin Doctors at 19:19 30/4-2016
110 more points by today's rankings. The points today were important as make me eligible for Criterium Monaco as had dropped to below 75 beforehand. Toll can also have a go at Tour of Luzon which is a slightly weird TQ race.

Ello Ello at 19:09 30/4-2016
what do you need points/money wise?

Spin Doctors at 16:59 30/4-2016
6th for Toll in Grasse-Toulon with a small crash for him too so more hopeful now!

Ello Ello at 16:54 27/4-2016
ouch, bad luck there, hope you make it
