Today marks the start of a new season in OCM (season 32), and the 1st day as a professional cyclist for Samuel Isley. He was the star for our youth team over the last few seasons, (1st rider ever to be good enough to be promoted) and the time was right to give him the chance on a fully professional level. He signed a long term development contract with us late last season.
Having joined this morning, he met his new teammates before heading off to the mountains with our trainers to get some climbing work done. He is expected to make his debut in our colours on day 6, in Uruguay at Classica de Montevideo.
We hope he will follow in the footsteps of last years trainee, Terrence Clement, and develop into a future tour rider. He knows he must work hard to accomplish this, and we will do all we can to help him.

I'm hoping to max CL, DH, TT, and small on FR, TQ. After TT centre with them stats he should be a superb tour contender.
Good. I know there was a theory a while back that 2 x gd 2 x ave and 2 x small is the ideal tour rider.
He could have been a great hill sprinter, shame about the low max :( Goodluck with ur next rider. My last 3 trainees have maxxed at 51 (Clement), 43 (Kermarec) and 36 (Bravo)
Really good one. I just had one good rider with hl:good sp:good fr:average tq:average and maxed at 36 av :)
its taken since the system was introduced to get any decent rider (and still only 190 points).. dont know how some teams get 2/3 riders every few seasons superb thru it
Nice rider, congrats. I wish I could get one like that. :-)
