What a start. Three wins and seven other podium places within the last third of the season.
Of course we were helped by the fact that we were racing teams that had also just started. Driscoll Whillans secured two victories and new signing Sandjis Semerjaks took the third. Results did get notably tougher to acquire as we climbed the divisions, but our team still managed to register top ten results without a strong team that had been built around them.
This season we hope to ride aggressively in the one day classic of Brebes - Brebes. It would be an incredible achievement to win a classic so quickly in our history, but we feel as if we have prepared as well as possible and hope to take on board two pave pacers to help Semerjaks fight for the win.
Following this, it is more than possible that Driscoll Whillans will be sold, for he wants to continue his racing and realises he won't get many more opportunities here. We also have our eyes wide open on the possibility of forming a completely new team around a younger captain at about day 40.
This season is going to be even tougher due to the fact that we gained 222 poiits in a very small amount of time, realising that we may well end up relegated.
By the end of the season we hope to look back with the same appreciation for success as we could this season and hope to have a young and good team that will lift us up through the divisions.
