When he was 18 he ended 5th at the sprint and 7th at the 1km TT at the British National Junior Track Championships. The next years he continued his progress and when he was 20 he got his breakthrough. He ended 5th in the sprint at the British National Senior Track Championships and he ended 5th at the road race at U-23 British National Championships. Then he got a contract with the Spanish team Max. He started at the club when he was 21 in the season of 22 and the first year he just got 4 races, but the next years he got many more races and got more chances for the team. His most succsessful season was probably season 25 when he got his first podium at the division 10 race GP Nazaré in Portugal, two other top ten results and he got to participate in a division 5 race in Denmark: Beat Cup Jimmi. He had a break from cycling in season 27 and in season 29 and 30 he did just one race. In season 33 he transfered to the English team Ilama. Wich probably was a good choice because in the next season he got his second podium with a 3rd place at the Weert - Venlo - Weert in the Netherlands. He stayed in Ilama until season 36 when he got transfered to the Norwegian team Team Kruse Smith where he got 2 top 5 results and one top 10 in his first season.
