The race starts on the paved square of Revnice, a market town located to the west of Prague. After few hundred meters, the road surface is changed to very nice new tarmac, which accompanies the riders to the finish line, and the road leaves Revnice and enters into the woody Brdy's ridge. In the first corner, lonely gamekeeper’s lodge is the last outhouse, which the riders pass. The next few minutes they spend only with hoopoes, flickers and boars.
In the top part of the climb, the riders, who have enough strength to raise eyes from the white line on the grey tarmac, enjoy nice look at the Middle Bohemian hilly countryside with changing woods and fields.
The climb is 6km, elevation gain is 300m. Best time is not expected below 12 minutes.
