Jelep La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.267m above the sea level, located between India and China. The route is scenic with forests of rhododendrons blooming in spring. Numerous hamlets are scattered in the surrounding area. The riders will pass across the pristine towns of Pedong in Northern part of West Bengal, Rhenok and Kupup on there way to the top of the pass.
The road to the summit, nestled between India and China in the eastern part of the Sikkim in India, is very steep. The climb is simply terrible, with a notorious lack of oxygen that will tests the riders.
The rider who handle the high altitude and the steep climb best, will cross the finish line first.
