On Sunday Bindlach will be both the starting and finishing place in the cycling race of Bindlach - Bindlach. Bindlach - Bindlach is a very flat race and will most likely end up in a mass sprint where the best sprinters have to fight their way to the podium. The 71 km race will require good technique from the riders. The route is almost flat all around, but right before the halfway sign there will be some hills in the eastern part of Bindlach where the riders will pass the Bindlacher Berg Airport that also hosted the World Gliding Championships 1999. Afterwards the race will have a easy flat route where the riders will pass the spa town of Bad Berneck im Fichtelgebirge north of Bindlach before turning south again to Bindlach where there is going to be a fight for the perfect posistion for the sprinters.

Description
The terrain in Bindlach - Bindlach has no climbs and has only easy downhills. The terrain includes a few hills and has many flat and straight roads. The finishing invites for a hard sprint testing the riders' abilities in a sprint. The route is incredibly technical. Wind speed: 10,2 m/s.
