The climb to Gubalowka hill may not be long or very steep, but the 15km downhill that follows is a hell of a ride. It requires both courage and good technique to cope with twisty roads leading riders down to a small uphill finish at Zakopane.
Locals are big cycling fans so there will be plenty of supporters along the road cheering up for their favorites. The winner will receive a unique trophy in a shape of a shepherd's axe called Ciupaga, which is a typical local souvenir.
