Length: 155 km
The race has its departure at world famous "Bryggen", which has been on the UNESCO list for World Cultural Heritage sites since 1979. Autumn (and every other part of the year, maybe) in Bergen is quite equal to rainy weather - so the riders can expect this to be a wet affair. Leaving the city centre of Bergen is usually done by the first 25 minutes of the race. Maybe some hopeful souls have made a breakaway at this point?

Outside the city centre, the riders will be passing by many breathtaking sights. There is not much time for watching the fjords and the mountains though, as the road will take the riders up and down almost all the time. If a rider dare to enjoy the nature too much on the flats - watch out for a collision! The roads are too narrow for that, though they do not demand much technique from the riders.
Afters several hills and some flat roads, the peleton (or a breakaway?) will return to Bergen city centre again. The finish of the race is a partly steep climb, by the foot of "Ulriken". Luckily enough for the not-so-good climbers, this is a pretty short climb - and they will finish before the top of Ulriken. At the same time, you'll have to have good climbing legs to be the first man to reach the finish line!
