It begins in Barranquilla Colombia and after a combination of 113km of flat roads and hills , riders arrive to Cartagena and its walled colonial city.
Here non cobblers will struggle mightily as the riders ride throughout the picturesque 16th century streets. Riders will go through the Castillo de San Felipe, the fortress that once was the center of Spanish power in the new world. Finally riders must climb up to the Popa, the colonial convent looking high over the city and where riders will need to use their last energies on this hard climb.
