Today, 2 major things happened to TCD!
The first thing is, that the team is now fully complete, as the old TCD-legend Otto Hagman has come back to the team, after being around at 3 other teams without finding solid soil. Getting this 2 times RoTM GC winner back, will be a big help for the younger Bauwens, to reclaim the Volta ao Porto win, from last season, in just a few weeks.
Secondly, Umberto took action in the Alpe d`Huez Classic, and won it in front of the major favourites Migel Pinto and Gilberto Morais (Morais was also beaten by Ture Ivansson from Crescent DBS, who comnpleted the podium), who both had top form.
This was the first ever classic win the team has ever achieved, and this will surely be celebrated tonight, as Umberto showed, that he is the climber to beat atm.
