Ever since our current star sprinter, Zhuang "sushi" Zhidong, notched our 249th victory on Stage 1’s Kiel Prologue, it felt like our 250th was right around the corner. The big question was always: who would seize this historic milestone for Team Chili?
Fittingly, just hours later on the very next stage, it was the same rider—Zhuang "sushi" Zhidong—who came through again on Stage 2 from Kiel to Bremen. Not only does this secure Team Chili’s 250th win—earning us the Silver Winning Achievement in the process—but it also puts sushi in a spot to potentially claim his second Sprinters’ Jersey in the tour (and the fourth for Team Chili overall).
