More than 7 years took me to have a really unexpected happyness from a Tour!
For an Sprinter - TTer team is really difficult to be competitive in most of the tours but the Nederlanse one. The issue is that is quite complicate to be exactly in the good ranking to be able to take part on it. This season was the season and I have been ready to:
- Sign up.
- Have and adequate captain for the general ranking and also an sprinting team to be with him.
The race was at it should be and I got a 9th position in the general classification for Carl-Henrik Talbot, finishing just one second ahead the 10th rider.
When did the great surprise came? I new that Carl was young (23 years old), but I was not sure about his condition for being able to compete at the Young Classification..
YEAH! Some hours later the finishing of the race I saw that finally he got the General Classification for the younger riders, very close to the second one (the 10th of the Main Geneal one)
