Clay Stilson, PEKAC B, was the fastest rider among the participants in the individual time trial race, (Stage 1 of Fast on Wheels). Clay Stilson was incredible fast on the final kilometres, as he was only second at the last split time. Infront of him was Britcycles's Edmond Margison who became second overall on the stage. Another interesting name was Saxon Toovey from CrelanBel who started out with an incredible tempo, which he of course couldn't keep going. He lost many important seconds on the second part of the route, which moved him to the third place overall.
Clay Stilson was happy for his victory. I've trained a lot and aimed to win this race, and now suddenly it happened! said the satisfied winner.
The manager of PEKAC B was proud of his rider today. Clay Stilson has been training and preparing himself for this race. It's an important victory - both for Clay Stilson but also for the team.
