Viborg Gadeløb is a short one-day road bicycle racing starting and finishing at Rødevej inside Viborg city center. And are routed via the famous Viborg Cathedral. The construction of the cathedral started in 1130 and took about 50 years. The building has burned to the ground and been re-built several times.
From the Cathedral the riders will turn to the left over the brigde that crosses the lake inside Viborg city center, and follow the Randersvej to Houlkærvej. The route then goes north on Houlkærvej, before it hits the roundabout at Nordre Ringvej. The riders that mange to take the left side in the roundabout will save some time, but its not enough space for everyone to take the shortcut. Will we see a big crash here?
If the riders stays on there bikes, they will then go west on Nordre Ringvej before they hit a new roundabout that will take them back again to the city center of Viborg. This is first of six rounds around Viborg, before the winner will be decided in a mass sprint at Rødevej.

Description
The terrain in Viborg Gadeløb has no climbs and has only easy downhills. The terrain includes a few hills and has an amount of average flat distances. The stage has a very easy and flat sprint, meaning that the stage possibly will end in a mass sprint. The route demands a bit of technique from the riders.
