Team Telek@m had an unexpected Board meeting and the main topic discussed was the under performance of the Sprinting Team and the bad choice of manager Didier Brunel.
The Sprinting Team has failed to perform till now and the main cause of that was the choice of the manager not to buy a trained rider but to gamble on training young riders and all of these riders proved to have low AV. The team was prepared to spend big on a fully trained sprinter but it seems that no teams are interested in selling this sort of rider to Team Telek@m.
It has been decided that if no Sprinters capable of leading the team to success join us all the riders forming part of the sprint team will be sold and the funds received will be use on building a second climbing team to be more competitive and some riders who could form this team have already been identified.
Moreover, another big issue of the meeting was the choice of Didier Brunel to sign up Brendan who is an average team mate as captain for a sprint and making Dirk a lead out in another Sprinting race... the latter said that it was a typing error when he submitted the list of riders to the race officials but it is not the first time that these sort of errors happens and rumors that the manager was drunk when submitting the list were heard.
The board decided to give Didier a last chance to prove them that he is the one needed at the head of the team and they also made a public announcement
"Anyone willing to sell a fully trained sprinter is invited to make contact with us to see if an agreement can be met on transfer fee & we invite any teams who have climbers for sale (trained or untrained) to send us the potential and price of their riders."
